We are so excited to share that Dr. Christopher Payne has joined our
FAMily as a full time veterinarian.
Dr. Gena and Dr. Jenny have known Dr. Payne for over 10 years personally and professionally and they cannot wait for you to meet him.
Dr. Payne went to school in Owasso and graduated from OHS, he was even in the Pride of Owasso Marching Band all four years!
He earned his DVM degree at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to focusing on companion animal medicine, he completed several electives in aquatic medicine as well.
Following graduation he moved to northeast Florida where he has worked as a small animal veterinarian for the past 5 years. Despite the distance, he has stayed close with FAM and is so excited to return home to Oklahoma!
In his free time, Dr. Payne loves doing all things nerdy; you can usually find him playing board games with his friends, or rolling the dice in a game of D&D. When he’s not busy with a game night, he enjoys reading (especially epic fantasy), enjoying the outdoors, and traveling anywhere there’s a beach.
