About Us
Our pets are family. And family deserves the best.
Dr. Gena Guerriero and Dr. Jenny Nobles founded Family Animal Medicine in 2012 with that idea as their core principle.
We are focused on caring for the pets who make our families whole, Drs. Nobles and Guerriero have worked hard to incorporate their values into the day-to-day operations at FAM. Our staff is committed to providing our patients and clients with the best possible care.
Family Animal Medicine provides full-service veterinary care for small animals at our hospital in Owasso, Oklahoma. Our clients come from surrounding communities for the exceptional care and services provided by our dedicated team at FAM. Beyond our doctors and technicians, we offer boarding and playcare, as well as spa days and grooming with our new groomer.
Dr. Nobles and Dr. Guerriero are the founding doctors of Family Animal Medicine. Dr. Guerriero completed her undergrad at the University of Sacramento and then studied abroad in Scotland before graduating with her DVM in 2000 from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Nobles received her undergrad and then, in 2007, her DVM from Oklahoma State University. In 2012, they founded Family Animal Medicine. Our Associate DVM, Dr. Chelsea Walker, an Owasso native, attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2017. Dr. Lori Freije practices general veterinary medicine as well as alternative therapies. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture as well as veterinary physical rehabilitation. We are grateful for these dedicated doctors who care exceptionally for FAM’s pets. As a clinic, we emphasize preventive medicine, perform elective, routine, and life-saving surgeries, manage chronic cases, and respond to emergent patients.
We are proud to focus on our patients and the clients who love them. We place communication at the forefront of our practice and take fewer appointments than many clinics and hospitals to spend more time with pets and their people. We are proud to be entrusted with the care of so many animals in our community and look forward to the continued growth of our family.
