Karen will be leaving FAM to move to Colorado. Her last day is January 26, 2018.
Wow, it is so difficult to put into words how much Karen has meant to us. There is much history, friendship, emotion and hours of toil involved.
Six years ago, we took a scary, crazy leap of faith and established our own unique veterinary hospital, Family Animal Medicine (FAM).
Since FAM's inception in January of 2012, Karen has been a steady force, helping to guide us from the meager start of our early endeavor to the bustling clinic we have today. Growing pains at FAM, as expected, were sometimes fraught with emotions. Days were unpredictable with long hours and managing a flourishing practice was and is difficult. The burden placed on Karen was tremendous. Through it all, Karen's determination and strength helped us stay true to the clinics goals (and our future dreams).
Karen's years of dedication has contributed to FAMs tremendous growth, our success and finally at last our new facility (opening very soon!).
Karen has been a unique and integral part of FAM. She is woven into our past, present and now future. Without her steadfast presence and management skills, we would not have been able to focus on veterinary medicine; Karen kept the business side of FAM blossoming.
We are both sad and exceedingly happy to see Karen off on an exciting life adventure. It's Karen's time to take her own leap of faith. We wish for her nothing but the best, and know wherever she goes she will succeed and excel.
We will miss her terribly and think of her often, remembering her always as an integral part of our special family.
Please come back and visit soon!!!
Good luck to our one and only "Supa Tech"!!!
Lots of love and hugs,
Dr Gena and Dr. Jenny
